A2WG creates opportunities for women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction to develop and sustain a healthy, sober lifestyle. Our focus is to help recovering women, especially in early sobriety to: Develop a network of recovering friends Have fun in healthy ways Learn tools for sober living We connect women in recovery to enhance and strengthen their sobriety through fun & informative events, workshops and retreats. The A2WG free childcare program allows women to attend 12 step meetings that they would not normally be able to make it to. A2WG events are free, low-cost or scholarship based and we offer rides and free childcare for many of our retreats. Regardless of anyone's economic situation, they should be able to attend one of our events.
