jaofnco.ja.org

Junior Achievement (JA) programs provide a sophisticated approach to the learning that students need in our rapidly changing world through experiential, hands-on learning, delivered by trained community volunteers. JA's K-12 programs integrate quality economic education materials with the real-life experiences of volunteers, making education and economics relevant. With a focus on tomorrow, JA content proactively equips students in the areas of workforce readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. - Workforce readiness ensures that today and tomorrow's workforce has the skills, competencies, and behaviors necessary to succeed in the workplace. - Entrepreneurship is taking the initiative and assuming risk to create value, either as a business owner or employee. - Financial Literacy is an individual's ability to make informed judgments and effective decisions about the use and management of their money. JA of North Central Ohio proudly serves the counties of Ashland, Carroll, Coshocton, Crawford, Holmes, Knox, Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne.
