The Government of Sikkim, also known as the State Government of Sikkim, is a democratically elected body that governs the Indian state of Sikkim and its 4 districts. It consists of an executive led by the Governor as the constitutional head and the elected Chief Minister as the head of the executive responsible for running the government, a judiciary led by the Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court, and a legislative. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim, and it houses the Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly), the secretariat, and the Sikkim High Court, which has jurisdiction over the state.
