P.O’Connell & Sons Meat Processors was founded in 1966 by Paddy O’Connell as a butcher shop on Barrack Street in Cork City. His son Barry O’Connell moved the butcher shop to the Lough in cork back in 1999. With great ambitions in 2004, Barry looked to expand the wholesale division with a massive move to a new state of the art facility in Wilton in Cork. The award-winning butcher shop still operates from the lough. P.O’Connell & Sons Meat Processors is a leading supplier of the finest Beef, Lamb, Pork, Bacon, Poultry and other speciality meat products, supplying to some of the finest Hotels, Restaurants and Catering Establishments throughout Ireland, doing so from our unrivalled 10,000 square foot Meat processing plant, in adherence with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI).
