The Kianh Foundation is a grass-roots UK registered charity transforming the lives of children with special needs and their families in Central Vietnam. The local area is living with the legacy of chemical warfare and typical birth disabilities form such as Downs syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy. The Kianh Foundation delivers specialist education and health services to children with disability at its purpose designed Day Centre for children, in Dien Ban district, 10 minutes from Hoi An City. Dien Ban has over 1,000 children with special needs who do not have access to essential services. The Day Centre supports 100 children with disability, along with their parents and families. We currently have 100 more Children on our waiting list! Our strategic plan for the next 36 months centres around goals to address capacity building, vocational training for - our graduates - adults with disability and extend outreach programs to the local communes. Alongside meeting our annual funding requirements we offer 4 capital expenditure projects, evolving our product scope and delivery to fully realise our whole-life mission for the local community.
