Our Mission: Through partnerships, programs and services, Care for Newcomers supports successful newcomer integration. Services provided: - ESL (English as a Second Language), both day and evening - Information and Referral about other immigrant support services - Canadian Citizenship preparation classes - Public Awareness and Education about multi-culturalism - Settlement Support in School - Settlement Support in Libraries - Translation and Interpretation - Immigrant Men and Women Support Groups - Newcomer Connections Volunteer Program - Employer Engagement Program Services are provided by 60 qualified staff and more than 300 dedicated and highly appreciated volunteers.
