Cajal Academy is a new, nonprofit independent school in Fairfield County that welcomes bright and gifted children—both those with disabilities and those without—to learn together in a nurturing and inclusive community. Our first-of-its-kind program integrates advances in neuropsychology and neurophysiology, and allows all our learners to benefit from the individualized programs, expertise and runway required for “twice exceptional” kids who are both gifted and have diagnosed learning, social or medical differences. Cajal Academy launched a pilot program in spring, 2019 and is accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year.
