ChileArab was founded in 2007 as the Chilean Arab Business Chamber under the umbrella of the SOFOFA, the Chilean Federation of Industry. It was in charge of opening the Arab markets, advising ProChile to open their Trade Office in Dubai and to participate in Gulfood Show. It was also in charge of the Halal Certification and Accreditation for Chile under a project by CORFO. After the posting of his Founder as the Ambassador of Chile to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, and as Commissioner General for Expo Dubai 2020, ChileArab is reopened as an Advisory Firm to liaise the Arab World and Chile in terms of Trade & Investment. Its main focus are Renewable Energies, Food Security and Innovations, with deep relations in both regions with the Sovereign Funds and Private Sector. ChileArab is part of the South American Arab Chambers network, under the umbrella of the Union of Arab Chambers, working together with Brazil, Colombia, Perú, Argentina and Uruguay to bring synergies to Multi-Latin companies and investment attraction for specific projects.
