Surfix has developed an ultrasensitive photonic biosensor based on silicon nitride waveguides, and a nanocoating that improves the sensitivity and reliability. Surfix has also developed a process to improve the manufacturing of plastic microfluidic devices with hydrophilic and antifouling surfaces, a key requirement for biological applications.
