We work to create and support economic development across 30 counties in North Mississippi. NMIDA provides extensive information and assistance directly to site selection consultants, industry, as well as the efforts of municipalities and local economic development agencies to promote positive growth. We work to 1. expand awareness of north Mississippi’s many advantages 2. provide up-to-date collections of useful business information 3. coordinate economic development activities in the region 4. support state and local business organizations 5. work toward a stronger regional infrastructure and business climate. NMIDA is funded by the Electrical Power Distributors in our service area and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
