Within three years, holdings included transportation, aluminum billet casting and extrusion, and corrugated packaging companies. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Interlock is now privately held by the founding member Joseph L. Mackin's children. As of 2010, Interlock employed over 2,000 full-time associates. Interlock and its companies have over 23 manufacturing facilities in 20 different states, and conduct business worldwide.
