Bill Zapcic is a seasoned journalist who devoted most of his career to helming copy, design and final-production desks for Gannett/USA TODAY. The New Jersey Regional Newspaper Production Center he led became the template for Gannett’s Design Studio system, and Bill was selected for Gannett’s Core Team that regionalized design and editing and centralized the USA TODAY Network’s text and image inventorying, tagging and sharing via one national Content Management System. He trained digital and print content creators from coast to coast in workflow Best Practices that his team and he crafted.
