The Mangalam Research Center for Buddhist Languages sponsors conferences, classes and workshops devoted to improving translation and understanding of buddhist texts in general, and the teminology of buddhism in particular. The Center promotes research and study of Tibetan, Sanskrit, Pali, Chinese and other languages as they relate to Buddhist texts.The Center is located in Berkeley, California - in the San Francisco Bay area.
