Kamala Nehru College, established as the 'Government College for Women' on 20th July, 1964, is the legacy of Smt. Kamala Nehru, an Indian independence activist and the wife of India's first Prime Minister, Shri Jawaharlal Nehru. Kamala Nehru College is a premier institution affiliated to the University of Delhi. Over the past 100 years, it has consistently empowered women through excellent education. It is at the forefront of inclusive education with courses delivered in both - Hindi and English languages. The college has produced many leaders who have created meaningful impact through their work across sectors, geographies and social strata.
