Mathew Paskiet is a native of "The Glass City", Toledo, Ohio. He began his study of hot glass at The Toledo Museum of Art and further pursued his studies at The Pilchuck school of Glass in Washington State. Shortly after, Matt traveled to Barcelona and attended the Centre de Vidre. Matt has assisted respected master glass blowers Dino Rosin and Dale Chihuly. Primed to showcase his craft Matt opened Firenation Glass Studio and Gallery on June 29th, 2002.
