In 2015, Arjelia "Argie" Gomez became the President and Chief Executive Officer with the company to drive innovation and advance the mission and integrating behavioral healthcare. Through a process of research, discovery and input from families, clients and stakeholders, Youth Evaluation and Treatment Centers was re-branded to continue the legacy of excellence and is now known as Open Hearts Family Wellness. The name is reflective of the care, commitment and quality services that have been delivered and will continue to be delivered as we move to the future of healthcare for our community. Youth Evaluation and Treatment Center History: Founded in 1974, YETC is a 501(c)3 not for profit agency that has been built upon the belief that emotional/mental health is a critical component of a child's development and overall well-being. The services that are provided today have evolved with the ever changing needs of our consumers. For nearly 40 years, we have dedicated our efforts to ensuring that we provide youth and families with the very best care, while employing the most advanced skills and expertise that our resources allow. It is our goal to nurture our troubled youth back to health, guide them in making better choices, teach them positive behaviors, heal emotional wounds and assist them in leading healthier lives and achieving their personal best. The continuum of the programs and services we provide will continue to grow and improve as we keep on our path towards building a better tomorrow for Arizona's youth.
