Epigram

www.epigram.org.uk

Comprised of an award-winning newspaper, website and social media community, Epigram is the official student news provider at the University of Bristol. Established nearly 30 years ago by James Landale, now Diplomatic Correspondent for BBC News, Epigram alumni can be found working at major media publications including The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, NME and Sky News. Today the Epigram team is focused on upholding the values of independence and integrity upon which our paper was founded, continually deepening our engagement and relationship with our readers, and consistently developing to ensure we remain the most relevant, informative, entertaining and concise source of student news for the University of Bristol community. Led by Co-Editors-in-Chief James Dowden and Mark Ross, along with Deputy Editors Alexander Sampson and Marine Saint, our printed newspaper is distributed fortnightly to an estimated 12,500 students, and available to view online at www.issuu.com/EpigramPaper. Our digital presence is led by Creative Directors Oscar Hunter and Freya Shaw, where our website, www.epigram.org.uk, reaches 21,000 unique users a month, our social media followings across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are rapidly expanding and our Epigram app was released in early 2020. Epigram's commercial operations, encompassing everything from logistics and distribution to advertising and events, are overseen by Managing Director Rowan Humphreys.
