Olivia Alexander is an internationally awarded, mixed media artist based on the Gold Coast, Australia. Her work is influenced by impressionistic and expressionist styles, even pushing the limits through to pure abstract. Olivia’s inspiration comes from the oceans and coastal areas of Australia and she interprets this using multi layers of ink, watercolours, acrylics and textures using her signature specialised mixed media techniques. Abstract Expressionism is also a passion, having studied abstract composition and design for several years . Olivia uses music, colour and gestural line to explore the natural world and emotions using the ‘language’ of abstraction. She is represented or has exhibit in Paris, USA, UK, Italy, Dubai, India and Australia. Her work is in private collections worldwide. Olivia works from her studio on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
