Cat 5 Music was founded in 2002 as the first graduate student-run music publishing company in the nation. While based out of the University of Miami’s top-ranking Music Business program, the company exists as an entirely separate business entity. Cat 5 operates as a full service music publishing company, searching to find placements in television, movie and commercial spots for the songs that are part of our continually expanding catalog. Cat 5 is currently in a partnership with peermusic, the world’s leading independent music publishing company.
