Starting from scratch, they worked together to convert an overgrown 3-acre field into a self-sustaining farm and home that could feed their family and soul. Their only requirements: Do it together, keep it simple, and most of all, have fun! Using recycled materials and a limited budget, they transformed the 3 acre lot into a mini-farm – filled with gardens, flowerbeds, chickens, honey bees, and a small orchard & vineyard.
