Southern Chester County Emergency Medical Services, Inc. MEDIC 94 is the provider of 9-1-1 advanced life support/paramedic services for 18 municipalities in southwestern Chester County Pennsylvania. SCCEMS provides these services with 2 paramedic staffed MEDIC 94 paramedic responder vehicles stationed at Jennersville and Avondale. These units cover a population of 65,000 in 225 square miles of coverage area. Annually, MEDIC 94 units respond to over 3,000 life-threatening 9-1-1 dispatches. Southern Chester County EMS is a 501c3 organization founded in 1983. It is governed by a volunteer community board of directors with representation from the local basic life support services where services is provided and members of the general public.
