The Circular Economy aims to imitate the model of nature in which the waste of one species is the food of another. This is also found in one of the fundamental laws of Physics, the First Law of Thermodynamics also known as the Energy Conservation Principle of the Frenchman Antoine-Laurent Lavoisier "nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed". That is, we do not believe, we take from nature and transform it into goods that once it no longer serves us, we do not like it or it has gone out of fashion, we do not transform it into other goods, we transform it into garbage. For this reason, Kora Paraguay was born, an association of public utility that works to publicize the principles of the Circular Economy and Sustainability in Paraguay, made up of professionals from different academic branches. We work to promote the Circular Economy and Sustainability as strategic for the country and contribute to the generation of public policies tending to improve the environmental standards of clean and friendly production with the environment, the extended responsibility of the producer and the responsible consumption. We seek to train the different professionals on Circular Economy, Sustainability and its tools, as well as the practical application of circularity within the field in which they operate. We also promote the transition from the business / industrial sector to a Circular Economy, in the way they design, produce, use and recycle to ensure that products, components and resources in general maintain their usefulness and value at all times so that they return to become raw materials. We are partners of the Circular Economy Platform for the Americas (www.cep-americas.com) and we are part of the Circular Economy Club (www.circulareconomyclub.com), being the founders of the first Circular Economy Club for the city of Asunción (www.twitter.com/AsuCircular).
