The Institute is passionate about raising the standards of service in multiple service industries. We specialize in providing consulting and training in five star service, both in private service settings as well as the hospitality and other service industries, such as (but not limited to) aviation and the technology industry. We pride ourselves on our unique training programs, focused not just on teaching the hard skills of butler- or five star service, but also on the soft skills: how to deal with the employers, guests and other clients one services, in a way that truly makes a difference. We consult long distance and then train onsite, where we tailor our training to that specific location. We can help implement butler service from the ground up, or train an already well-oiled staff team to higher levels of service excellence, or anything in between. In addition to our consulting and on-site training services, we provide long-distance learning courses for private and hospitality butlers. The Institute can also, and occasionally does, handle placement of qualified butlers or household managers in private homes and high-end resorts. We issue a monthly newsletter (the Modern Butlers Journal) for private service and hospitality professionals interested in the hands-on aspects of five star/butler service and in general, aim to be a clearing house for information about the butler profession.
