We have known about the negative impact of carbon emissions for years. Now we are also beginning to understand what security of energy supply and energy sovereignty means. Here at HH2E, we deliver good news: 100% renewable energy is possible, including electrons and molecules. HH2E is an innovative green energy company that has developed the next-gen power plant, capable of converting just a few hours of off-peak solar and wind power per day into a steady supply of heat and hydrogen. In this way, green hydrogen can now be produced on a large scale in Europe, close to customers in optimal locations, in a cost-competitive way. Energy transition requires a large-scale solution for industries requiring energy on a 24/7 basis. HH2E is that solution. Innovation The new HH2E plants include three main components: a unit capable of accumulating large amounts of wind and solar energy; a power generation unit; and an electrolysis unit which couples a high-capacity battery with an electrolyser. This technology-mix is a game changer, as it offers the ability to produce hydrogen without a permanent power input, using only the renewable power produced during off-peak hours, when electricity is cheaper. The plan is already unfolding, set to deliver a total of 4 GW of green hydrogen production capacity. The first plant will be built as early as next year in Lubmin, Germany. Our project pipeline is in excess of €4 billion, with two world-class energy transition and infrastructure funds having committed €600 million for the construction of the first units. The near term project pipeline positions HH2E to become one of Europe's largest green hydrogen producers by 2030. HH2E represents the body and soul of the change in the energy game, by transforming wind and sun power volatility into stable supply of heat, green-hydrogen and electricity.
