About Youth Excel Youth Excel was founded in 2000 by Michele Mitchell and is a health promotion charity which exists to deliver early intervention health and wellbeing services to young people aged between 6 and 24 years old. Working closely with businesses, corporations and school communities both at schools onsite and the clinic, Youth Excel’s psychologists, counsellors and mentors deliver services through individual sessions, small group workshops and holiday programs to approximately 120 young people each week. We also deliver Sexual Health, Cyber Safety, Counter Bullying and Life Skills presentations and workshops in over 30 schools each year reaching close to 8,000 young people as well as their parents and teaching professionals. Our Founder and Mentor Michelle Mitchell is a registered teacher and the founder of Youth Excel. Her passion for people in need, combined with her lifelong interest in life skills education has led her to pioneer this work which is now recognised throughout Australia.
