The UWE Law Society (UWELS) is considered to be one of the fastest growing and reputable societies in the South. Having only been formed in 2013, our aim is to aid members to gain access to the legal profession while simultaneously making it an enjoyable experience. The UWELS aims to accommodate all individuals wishing to pursue a career in law. We actively encourage students from all walks of life to participate in UWELS ran activities; whether that is getting involved in networking events, society ran competitions or even our popular social events. Alternatively, the UWELS recognise that not every individual studying a law degree wants to pursue a career in law. As such, we provide members with skill sets that are transferable in whatever career they wish to pursue.
