We deliver the service from secure data centers with high availability. Customer data never leaves Sweden or Norway, where data centers are located physically. The service is flexible, fully automated, and based on self-service through a portal: The user can start and stop new servers with a few simple steps. It is also possible to manage and control the provisioning of servers programmatically through standards-based calls to our API. Safespring Storage We provide an object-storage service to expose an S3 interface to your application. The service is optimized at ample and inexpensive storage space and is well suited for applications such as reading or writing large amounts of data. Safespring Backup Backup as a service is a dedicated cloud-based service. Cloud-based service means that users don't need to invest in any own hardware or software. You can consume the service through the Internet. Users pay only for the amount of data stored in the service. You pay through invoicing of consumption monthly, and utilization increases or decreases to suit your needs. The security is excellent, and of course, all data is encrypted both in transport (TLS over the Internet) and encrypted on hard drives in Safespring data centers.
