I started Gioia Creative when I was at a crossroads in my career. After 17 years in the corporate setting, I wanted to have the opportunity to focus on what I truly love: writing, marketing, strategy and simply being creative. My deep desire to be passionate about what I do and find joy in my workday is what fueled me to finally take the leap and strike out on my own. As for the tricky-to-pronounce name - it DOES have a story. Gioia means JOY in Italian. It is also my middle name and a family name. I'm committed to embracing joy as a lifestyle. To me that means being authentic, true to yourself, and finding meaning in what you do. With every service I provide, my goal is that I leave it better than I found it by being humble, listening, filling in the gaps, and understanding my clients' story and goals.
