Aqualash is Sarah Lorien and Michael Trifunovic - composers and performers of music and soundscapes. We are Inspired very much by the visual and kinetic impacts music and sound can create, or in the case of Film and TV, enhance and shift. The heart of our work is spontaneous and intuitive, from intimate acoustic to multi-layered electronic and vocal pieces. is Trip-Hop Dream-Pop. Often Minimalist but not really because even the smoothest and purest sounds are constructed with subtle layers and the space in between them. Sometimes we're loud and the guitars are distorted and still there are layers. Landscapes. Breaths. Could be esoteric if that's what you're into. Also identifiable as a sort of textured pop. Maybe. However you hear it, we do independed releases and compose music and soundscapes for film and TV. As of October 2015 we're in the studio! Which translates literally to "recording our latest release every second life permits". The new songs? There's a bit of love, a bit of lust and bit more driting through space, which seems to be a favourite past time. There are also a few massive question marks where the stories have yet to reveal themselves, at the moment they exist as melodies. We're looking forward to announcing the official release.
