XOLTA develop and manufacture batteries to store solar energy. Adding a solar battery to the solar panels enable you to store the energy and use it when needed. This ensures more use of green energy, lower energy bills, lower CO2 emissions and greater independence of the grid. Our customer group range from businesses, municipalities and housing associations to grid operators using the batteries for frequency support and peak shaving among others. Soon private homes as well as smaller businesses and housing associations can benefit from XOLTA solar batteries as well, when we introduce a compact battery in 2021. XOLTA will then provide batteries with a capacity ranging from 5kWh to 2,5MW.
