It was founded by Jim and Renee Lindsley in 1994 after working briefly for another, now defunct, waterproofing company. Their desire to provide better service and more diversity to the people in the Triangle Area has kept the company going strong.Company History When the Lindsley’s started the business, they had a slightly dilapidated Ford Bronco, a couple of shovels, a wheel barrow, and a lot of ‘know how’ & determination—working alone, out of their home. By the end of the sixth year, the business had outgrown the ‘home base’ so LWP built an office/warehouse in East Durham and will soon have to expand that. The ongoing success of Lindsley Waterproofing is due, at least in part, to their working honestly and fairly with employees, customers, and associates. This is evidenced by the fact that, for the past several years, they’ve been reducing paid advertising but, because of referrals, and ‘word of mouth’ advertising, their business keeps growing.
