Geoconsult is a privately owned New Zealand engineering consultancy, specialising in the fields of geotechnical engineering and engineering geology. Based in Auckland and founded in April 2009 by Marco Holtrigter, Geoconsult provides their services primarily to the New Zealand market with a focus on pragmatic affordable solutions. Our client base includes local government, developers, contractors, private individuals and other consultants. The Geoconsult team includes two IPENZ Chartered Professional Engineers (CPEng) and a Geological Society of London Chartered Geologist (CGeol). The team holds professional memberships in IPENZ, the Geological Society of London (GSL), the New Zealand Geotechnical Society (NZGS), the International Society for Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering and the International Society of Rock Mechanics.
