Wikimedia Levant is a non-profit organization active in Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria that aspires to promote free knowledge through Wikipedia (the well-known free encyclopedia) and other Wikiprojects. Activities include hosting hack-a-thons, edit-a-thons, workshops, photography & editing competitions and university programs that help bring more volunteers and content to Wikimedia projects in Arabic language.
