Obsidian Public Relations
www.obsidianpr.comObsidian is the dark natural glass that forms when molten lava meets water and is rapidly cooled. This is what strategic public relations can do for your company – it tempers fires and gives you a solid, impenetrable foundation in an ever-fluid business environment. Known as The Great Stabilizer, Obsidian the mineral is widely regarded for its mystical power of insight. And so is Obsidian the firm. Built on the power of providing excellent communication insight for our clients, Obsidian was founded in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2006 by Courtney Ellett. As the largest PR firm in the region, Obsidian now serves more than 60 clients across the United States. In 2013, our firm was named Small Business of the Year by the Memphis Business Journal, and Obsidian won the coveted VOX award for the best public relations tactic of 2012 given by the Public Relations Society of America, Memphis chapter, for work on behalf of Southern College of Optometry. Most recently, Obsidian was honored in 2021 – our 15th year in business – as a Best Places to Work winner by the Memphis Business Journal.
