Founded in 2013, by a husband and wife team, Carlos and Laurissa opened the Cardenas Oil & Vinegar Taproom an experimental specialty food store located in the heart of the Italian Market in Philadelphia. Our tasting room provides guests the opportunity to enjoy and explore the flavors and extra virgin olive oils from around the world, balsamic and exquisite aged vinegars, naturally mined sea salts and collection of artisan honey and cocktail mixers. The products we carry are pure and simple flavors beloved by home and professional chefs! Our family history can be traced back to the La Rioja region in Northern Spain and Ventimiglia, Sicily. We grew up with big family meals and a love of great traditional foods from our native countries. The Cardenas Oil & Vinegar Taproom is our way of sharing the traditions and products that we love and have grown up with, coupled with some new world culinary delights that we have found along the way!
