MET operates the Omega metallurgical coal operation located in Southwest Virginia, in the United States. Begun in 2011, Omega Holdings, LLC produces a high-quality metallurgical-grade product in demand from multiple off-take partners and which is a primary ingredient in steel making of which there is currently no substitute. New assets we are in the process of acquiring are similarly strategically positioned, with high-quality geology, low political risk, and a good route to market.
