The Fairfield Public Library System serves a community of 56,544 and is comprised of a Main Library and the Fairfield Woods Branch Library. The Library houses 350,000 items with a total circulation of 1,004,417 in FY 2010. Fairfield Public Library promotes reading and serves the people of Fairfield as a center for lifelong learning and a community hub. Residents of all ages find information and enjoyment to meet their expressed wishes and needs.
