Center for Wellness & Clinical Development was founded in Feb 2018 by Dr. Brittany Peters. Through the Social Determinants of Health lens, Center for Wellness & Clinical Development provides training to encourage the development of culturally competent clinicians. Center for Wellness & Clinical Development also increases access to therapeutic care for underserved populations with a focus on ensuring providers are diverse and culturally relevant. The mission is to respond to the mental health needs of the community through providing culturally competent services to members of the community and training to the therapists who serve the community.
