After Guangxi LiuGong has acquired Dressta in year 2012 it has moved to 12 Joo Koon Circle in year 2015. The regional subsidiary continue to support corporate functions and serve as both LiuGong'sand Dressts’ssales hub, technical support and trading hub for Asia Pacific, excluding China. The facility is also the first spare parts distribution centre for Southeast Asia and the Pacific islands. The office, which will serve Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and other islands in the region, plays a critical role as LiuGong's key customer touch point in this region, as it allows the company to attend to customer needs more efficiently. For example, spare parts that previously took two weeks to reach customers can now be delivered in two days, reducing production down time significantly. The company will also provide training opportunities for employees at this new centre, particularly those from the research & development department. "This will allow our staff to interact more closely with our customers in this region, and gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of the needs of each local market. Not only will this allow us to react to customers more effectively, it will also help us develop products that will best meet the needs of the different markets", said Chairman Wang.
