Nguyen Sports Medicine is a sports medicine clinic owned and operated by Dr. Duong Nguyen. Dr. Duong Nguyen trained at one of the most respected orthopaedic surgical programs in Canada, at the University of Western Ontario, where he worked with international leaders who specialize in shoulder, elbow and knee arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. He then pursued further subspecialty training and was awarded the Charles S. Neer Sports Medicine Fellowship in Shoulder, Elbow and Knee Surgery from Columbia University / New York Hospital. He has been practicing subspecialty Orthopaedic Surgery in North Carolina prior to returning home to Toronto where he continues in his area of subspecialization: Sports Medicine / Arthroscopic Shoulder, Elbow & Knee Surgery. At Nguyen Sports Medicine clinic if you have a sports-related injury (e.g. ACL tear, meniscal tear) or sports-related fracture (e.g. wrist fracture), you can be assessed and treated (cast, brace, or surgery) by a Sports Medicine Physician / Orthopaedic Surgeon on the same day without having to wait in the Emergency Department.
