Cornell Real Estate Council

www.cornellrec.org

Started more than 30 years ago by a group of alumni, and distinguished by decades of successful engagement, leadership, scholarship and good old fashioned networking, the Cornell Real Estate Council (CREC) announced its official (re)launch at the 35th Annual Cornell Real Estate Conference on October 13th, 2017. As part of our re-launch, CREC is re-dedicated to serving the needs of alumni and students who share a common interest in real estate. CREC is proud to represent the many voices of ‘real estate at Cornell’ and is committed to furthering the academic, educational, and aspirational goals of more than a thousand unofficial CREC members. As a formal 501c3 not-for-profit organization, CREC can now officially welcome members and pursue a more formal agenda. CREC’s statement of purpose can be found at https://www.cornellrec.org, but in essence our aim is to attract students and alumni looking to further their knowledge of real estate, their careers and their connections, to one another and to Cornell. There are many ways to get involved, starting with becoming a CREC member, and for those with more time and interest: - participating in or helping lead a Regional Chapter - volunteering to help organize the Council’s programs, community outreach, social media, research, student interaction, fund raising, etc. contribute content such as photographs of your most recent real estate project to this, the Council’s newly-launched website - sign up to serve as a student mentor and much more We look forward to your participation!
