Transport Telematics Africa (TTA) offers consulting engineering and project management services in the fields of: - Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Information Systems and Technology - Telecommunications TTA has been involved in the design and project management of various intelligent transport monitoring systems such as the Automatic Fare Collection System for the MyCiti Bus Rapid Transit System in Cape Town, Automatic Number Plate Recognition on the N2 Highway and the implementation of a Remote Traffic Monitoring System on the N1 and N2 in Cape Town. TTA has also been involved with Risk Mitigation on the Open Road Tolling Project on the Gauteng Freeways. TTA has designed and project managed the installation of many CCTV urban surveillance systems in and around the City of Cape Town and for Stellenbosch University. The firm has been responsible for many end to end solutions for these CCTV installations, including not only the cameras and their related transmission equipment but the communication equipment and back end processing, storing and monitoring components of the system. TTA has extensive experience in the design and project management of the installation of fibre optic and wireless communication systems for various electronic services. Recently TTA has been involved in the design of a large hospital fibre and copper network and specified the related VoIP and data telecommunications equipment for the hospital.
