Belgian Bicycle Group (further BBG) was founded by Johan Deknopper in March 2017. (*Trademark is registered at BBIE) We believe there is still a window of opportunity for beautiful designed e-bicycles. During our market research we understood that the bicycle industry is conservative when it comes to design & approach. It took us almost 3 years to develop and build something totally new and especially something different than the e-bikes you can find today. However you might have the most beautiful bicycle, we find that arriving safely at your destination is even more important. That is why “safety” is the core business of Veloské. We have build an e-bike with 2 extra integrated lights zones for a better side-visibility: the more visible you are the safer you cycle. Our unisex model Hatteras, with a retail target price of 3.890 €, will be firstly available through a network of preferred dealerships in the home market Belgium. It is the ambition to quickly expand our network and focus on some “design” liked international countries. Sales will start in 2020 with a batch of 100 bicycles, but we believe it will ramp up quickly by higher volumes once the extended dealer network is in place.
