Alcamare Recycling International Group is the leading company in the Mexican recycling industry, with more than 100 years of experience in the commercialization, processing and export of waste paper and plastic. We have a strong presence in the United States, Central America and Europe, as well as in the main markets in Asia. Our 11 recycling centers, located in the most representative waste generating points of the country, have the highest technology and the most qualified personnel. During 2009, we managed to collect more than 40,000 tonnes of paper and cardboard, contributing to the conservation of 680,000 trees, which is the equivalent to planting 1 tree per meter from the city of Puebla to Guadalajara (663.3 km of trees). In addition, each month we process @5,000 tonnes of recyclable plastics, mainly HDPE and PET, which is sold in the most important markets in the world, thus contributing to the conservation of the planet and the reduction of single-use plastics.
