Villa Valmarana ai Nani è uno splendido sito architettonico e artistico composto da tre edifici e da un grande parco d’epoca. Gli edifici, la Palazzina (1669), la Foresteria e la Scuderia (1720), sono infatti circondati da aree verdi disegnate per rispondere a diversi gusti estetici ed esigenze funzionali: si va dal giardino all’italiana con la colombaia e il pozzo, alla passeggiata tra i carpini, alla pagoda nel bosco. La Palazzina e la Foresteria sono affrescate da Giambattista e Giandomenico Tiepolo, chiamati nel 1757 da Giustino Valmarana. La Villa prende il nome dalle statue dei 17 nani in pietra, un tempo disseminati nel giardino, ora disposti sul muro di cinta che circonda la proprietà. The park is divided in different green areas ranging from the Italian garden with the dovecote and the well, to the walk among the hornbeams, and the pagoda in the woods. Both the Palazzina and the Foresteria are frescoed by the famous 18th century artists Giambattista and Giandomenico Tiepolo, who were hired in 1757 by Giustino Valmarana to grace the Villa. Villa Valmarana ai Nani takes its name from the 17 stone dwarves that used to decorate the garden, and that now are placed on the wall surrounding the property.
