Challenge, disrupt, transform RamsayTalks have been empowering innovators with new ideas since 1980 We began by hosting simple luncheons‚ where we’d invite groundbreaking speakers like Malcolm Gladwell, Valery Gergiev, Sir Edmund Hillary, Brent Hawkes and Margaret MacMillan. In 2009, we expanded to more frequent, but smaller interactive gatherings, with speakers like Samantha Power, Robin Ghivan, Tracy Kidder and Peter Gelb. In 2010, we partnered with the Globe and Mail and Mackenzie Financial to create the Keynote Speaker Series with leading thinkers that included authors like Ken Auletta, Sheena Iyengar, Nicholas Christakis, Tim Wu and Tony Hsieh, and in 2011, we co-produced the 20th anniversary reunion of Thelma & Louise, with Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis live on stage at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. Today, RamsayTalks often develops series larger venues like the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema and the Four Seasons in downtown Toronto, featuring groundbreaking and innovative speakers like Jane McGonigal, Neil Ferguson, Jody Cantor, Robyn Doolittle and David Thomson.
