The Supreme People's Court was established on 22 October 1949, and its office building is currently located at No. 27 Dongjiaominxiang Lane, Dongcheng District, Beijing. As the highest judicial organ of the People's Republic of China, the Supreme People's Court is committed to upholding the dignity of the Constitution and the law, upholding the concept of justice for the people, laying the foundations of a society governed by the rule of law, and building a fair, efficient and authoritative judicial system. Since its inception, the Supreme People's Court has delivered justice through its judicial decisions, applied the rule of law through its judicial interpretations, grasped the pulse of the times, understood the needs of society, met the expectations of the people, promoted the spirit of the rule of law, and been a faithful guardian of the Constitution and laws.
