In 2019, I left corporate marketing and graphics to start Flamingo Shores, my brand of seashore-oriented designs for prints, gifts and home décor. My designs are watercolor paintings, reproduced through giclee prints that are sold individually, framed, on wood blocks and ceramic drink coasters, etc. FlamingoShores.com, my online store went live in February 2020 and has generate several sales. I will be taking my art to festivals, craft fairs and events this summer. There are presently 14 designs on my website and that number will grow by the time the summer events roll begin. In addition to selling direct, I plan to work with resort area gift shops to resell my most popular designs, and where appropriate, create custom and exclusive products for stores.
