Calvary is affiliated with the Associate Gospel Churches. Today there are over 130 AGC churches across Canada. In 1930, special outreach services were held in Beamsville that resulted in the church being organized. Meeting first in a storefront building on King Street, the church grew rapidly. In 1939, the church moved to their building on Queen Street and then in 1974, relocated to its present location at 4129 Hixon Street. Calvary's past is the story of godly pastors and people who laboured to bring the gospel message to its community and world. Calvary is committed to: proclaiming the Word of God, glorifying God by making disciples and caring for the people of God. It truly is 'A Place to Begin, Believe and Belong'.
