OUR MOON EDUCATION Our Moon believes in a world where Africans are educated to become young socially-conscious professionals who bring about change within their communities, countries and continent. . Our Moon is an education charity that unleashes the potential in high achieving but financially disadvantaged young people in Zambia so that they can bring about positive social change. We provide a one year, full time, residential gap year programme in Zambia that develops students reading, communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Students work on local projects and produce a reflective essay as well as take SATs and SAT subject tests. We guide their university applications so that they fulfil their academic aspirations and are able to bring home the skills, knowledge and dispositions they gain.
